This grand kitchen was designed with warm tones and contrasting white shaker style cabinetry to fit in with the inviting feel of the rest of the house. The homey feel is enhanced with the beam across the custom range hood and similarly stained built-in shelves along the back wall. To complement it, the glass door cabinetry and shelving make this kitchen more than just a home but a place of luxury. This is seen in the small details, like the built-in utensil holder to eliminate clutter on the countertops, keeping the space stunning at all times.
The basement of this home had an open space that the owners wanted to take full advantage of. The first part of the bar, right at the base of the stairs, holds a beverage fridge that fits nicely into the design. Details of this cabinetry include the custom wine rack and glass doors for a higher aesthetic. The complementing cabinets on the other side of the room create excess counter and cabinetry space for entertaining, as well as a fantastic way to bring the room together.

Caryl was amazing. She thought of everything, and new how to build our dream kitchen using the space we had. She was knowledgeable, professional, dedicated and our job was delivered on time as expected. I would highly recommend Caryl and her team to anyone. GREAT JOB
We've worked with Lyle and Kitchen Art on 2 kitchens, one a renovation and one in a new house. Excellent work, both in design and fabrication. Lyle is open to suggestions and his own recommendations are always on target. We don't plan any more moves but, should that happen, we'll be back in touch with Kitchen Art.
We have used Kitchen Art twice over the last few years. The made a custom wall unit to match our Kitchen cabinets and they did custom cabinets for our ensuite bathroom. Very happy with the workmanship and they still look great. Good company to work with.
I worked with Serena on updating my investment properties, old, dated Kitchen. This was my first full-blown renovation and I was a complete Newbie with the whole thing. Serena was super easy to work with, answering all my random question and going above and beyond my expectations. The property is in East Vancouver and Serena was super accommodating even with KAD being in the valley. Was slightly annoyed that only half my handles arrived when the cabinets were installed, and the remainder had to be installed after my tenants had already moved in. However, in the scheme of things KAD was a fantastic experience and I’d highly recommend Serena and KAD.
The quality of our finished kitchen has exceeded our expectation, as did the overall experience we have had dealing with KAD. Doug, our customer service rep, was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question that cropped up along the way with the other trades we hired. He came to the house several times and was always available by phone, getting back to us immediately. From the enjoyable design process, to the meticulous cabinet installation, and the attentive customer service, our experience with KAD was excellent.
