Join Our Team
We are looking for a detail focused and organized team member to join us in the role of Production Supervisor. The role is directly responsible for overseeing and organizing the equipment, employees, and the processes on a production floor meeting all production and quality requirements. We are looking for individuals with 5-8 years experience with specific concentration in manufacturing.
Your Responsibilities
- Planning, prioritizing, assigning, supervising, reviewing, and participating in all tasks associated with production
- Foster, develop, participate in, and encourage an environment across the shop for continuous improvement
- Oversee cross-departmental interface to ensure safe and efficient preparation of equipment for planned/unplanned/turnaround maintenance or projects.
- Participate in JHSC and provide feedback/support for actions arising from committee.
- Manager multiple projects simultaneously, training new staff and ensure each project is staffed, materials are ordered in advance, the jobs are well planned and on time
- Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines
- Develop production schedules and maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products
- Direct quality control inspections
- Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
- Responsible for communicating performance/KPI’s to the team daily. Ensure timely completion of all shift reports
- Establish training and development programs for employees including SOP’s, quality specifications, safety, and job expectations
- Lead and supervise all production personnel in functional areas constantly raising the standard of performance
- Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
Your Qualifications
- 5-8 years experience with specific concentration in manufacturing
- Crew management experience required
- Experience in managing multiple simultaneous projects required
- Ability to pick up materials weighing over 50 pounds

- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Responsive to incoming communications in a timely manner
- Ability to provide efficient, reliable and courteous service to clients
- Ability to effectively present information
- Skilled in managing difficult situations and solving problems
- Effective in leading teams under pressure and through challenging situations
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Intermediate computer skills or better, we are very systems driven and focused.
Salary
$50,000-$60,000
Job Type
Full-time, Monday-Friday. Work is busier in our summer season (Some overtime and weekends required) and an easier pace during the winter months balancing the monthly salary.
